The
American
Recovery and
Reinvestment
Act signed
into law by
President
Obama on
February
17th, 2009
includes
measures to
modernize
our nation's
infrastructure,
enhance
energy
independence,
expand
educational
opportunities,
preserve and
improve
affordable
health care,
provide tax
relief, and
protect
those in
greatest
need.
Recipients
of
stimulus
funds under
the ARRA are
subject to
quarterly
reporting
requirements
and
oversight by
Federal
agency
inspectors.
In October
2009,
reports
required
under
Section 1512
of the Act
were
submitted to
the federal
government,
providing
detailed
information
on projects and
activities
funded by
the Recovery
Act.
